ROSEMONT, ILL. — The topic of network design recently drew attendees to the Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont, for the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors’ monthly meeting. Mike Watson of IBM’s Software Group spoke about the optimization of the supply chain structure within companies.
He cited several examples of how their analysis has been spot on in recognizing cost-saving options for companies. Watson also noted that Chicago is among the five most desirable locations for manufacturing and distribution companies.
