Ashley Capital renews MWD lease in Chicago

NAI Hiffman recently assisted Ashley Capital’s lease renewal for 90,624 square feet of industrial space with tenant MWD Logistics at 1500 E. 97th St. in Chicago.

The space is part of Calumet Business Center, a 2 million-square-foot industrial complex made up of 12 buildings ideally located south of downtown Chicago. The site is rail-served and is within one-quarter mile of I-94, with close proximity to I-57, I-80 and I-90. The Chicago Tribune, Del Monte, MeadWestvaco and Cargil anchor the development.

Chris Gary, vice president with NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group, represented Ashley Capital in the transaction. Adam Haefner of Darwin Realty represented MWD Logistics.
