NAI Hiffman announces the addition of high-profile industrial power team
Dave Petersen, Chief Executive Officer of NAI Hiffman, announced today the addition of high-profile commercial real estate industry veterans Whit Heitman, Sam Badger, SIOR and Brad Weiner to its industrial services group.
Effective immediately, Heitman, Badger and Weiner will join NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group and will continue to work as a team focused on serving owners, occupiers and investors of industrial real estate in the Chicago area and nationally. They were most recently with Cushman & Wakefield in Chicago, and will now be based at NAI Hiffman’s Oakbrook Terrace headquarters.
“Whit, Sam and Brad are a perfect fit for our culture which encourages collaboration, entrepreneurial nimbleness and a singular focus on customer service. This team is a great complement to our existing platform and gives us a dominant and strategic presence in the North Suburban submarkets,” says John Picchiotti, COO, Brokerage for NAI Hiffman. “This addition strengthens NAI Hiffman’s already comprehensive coverage throughout the Chicago Metropolitan Area with the addition of some of the most respected professionals in the business.”
With over 43 years of combined commercial real estate experience, Heitman, Badger and Weiner will continue to focus their service to the North industrial submarkets including North Cook, Lake County and Southeast Wisconsin among others. Together, they have completed more than 29 million square feet of industrial transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $1.35 billion. Throughout their years teaming together on local and national transactions they have represented private investors, large institutional clients and Fortune 500 companies, including First Industrial, CenterPoint Properties and IBM Corporation, among others.
“NAI Hiffman has been executing a multi-year strategic recruiting initiative with great success. Our goal has been to identify top talent and provide them with all the tools necessary for their success resulting in broad market coverage to serve our investor and tenant clients,” adds Dave Petersen. “This new team is a great cultural fit with a focused customer service approach perfectly suited for NAI Hiffman. This is exciting for all of us and furthers our growth goals significantly.”
“We have been watching NAI Hiffman and the things that have been happening here for a while now,” says Whit Heitman. “There is a momentum building within the organization and it’s evident to the market. The company has a great culture and the platform to assist our team to further deliver solutions to our clients. We are very excited about the future.”
