After two previous sales positions in different industries, I found my way to Industrial Real Estate. Previously, I had experience selling consumer products (Gallo Wines) in a “farmer” role managing sales in a specified sales territory and then in the telecommunications industry (World Comm) as a “hunter”, where I was responsible for generating new business. Commercial Real Estate was my next stop where I am able to leverage my previous business development skills and relationships. Having worked at competing brokerage companies, I was glad to be welcomed back at NAI Hiffman in 2015. The working environment here is professional with access to tools, support and the ever-changing technologies. Most importantly, the human infrastructure here is second to none in market knowledge; experience that is complimented by teamwork and collaboration.

I am a military brat because my dad was in the Army Corp of Engineers and we moved 11 times in 18 years. I have lived on the West Coast, East Coast, Midwest and Germany. Through my travels I have made many relationships and have been able to draw upon many experiences. My wife, daughter and I live in the City of Chicago and enjoy being active as a family.

Jay re-joined NAI Hiffman in February 2015 after three year’s with Cushman & Wakefield. Jay was first employed with NAI Hiffman from 2005-2012 and prior to that he was with Grubb & Ellis. Jay’s focus is on assisting clients with strategic real estate planning, financial analysis and market research.
